Gridlock On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Enters Second Day

A massive traffic gridlock on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway has entered its second day. An accident on the expressway on Wednesday around 3pm involving a petrol-laden tanker and two other vehicles led to an explosion.

Emergency services raced to the scene to put out the fire and clear the express of debris but despite their best efforts, the gridlock has entered the second day.

A portion of the expressway has been cordoned off, worsening the situation.
