Manchester United Demolish Feyenoord 4-0 In Europa League Encounter

Manchester United responded to criticism of their recent performance with an emphatic 4-0 win over Feyenoord in the Europa League. The win sees them go second in the group and still means that qualification for the second round is still very much within their reach.

Mourinho rang the changes for the encounter as Henrik Mkhitaryan, Sergio Romero and Luke Shaw were back in contention. Zlatan Ibrahimovic who missed the Arsenal tie through suspension also started alongside Rooney and Mata.

Rooney opened the wcoriñ with a goal which edges him even closer to breaking Bobby Charlton’s goal record at Manchester United. Juan Mata doubled United’s lead in the second half in a move which Rooney also had a hand in.

Brad Jones scored an own goal before Jesse Lingard completed the rout as the match inched to a close. United now need just a point to qualify for the next round as they trail leaders Fenerbahce by just one point.
