Ogun Labour Leaders Suspend Strike

ibikunle-amosun-ogun-stateOrganised Labour leaders have resolved to suspend the strike embarked upon by civil servants which totally paralysed government business in the last 12 days in Ogun State.

The state government on Tuesday terminated the appointments of the state chairmen of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Akeem Ambali and Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Dare Ilekoya over alleged acts of misconduct.

The decision to suspend the strike followed the outcome of the 10-hour meeting between the state government, national and state labour leaders.
