Chelsea continued their impressive form on Saturday as they beat Tottenham 2-1 to remain unbeaten in seven matches. The goal they conceded marked the end of a six-match long clean sheet streak but they’ll take consolation from having gained three points and ensuring they remain top of the Premier League table.
Tottenham who were previously unbeaten in 12 games (6 wins and 6 draws) and were the only team to have avoided defeat until yesterday. They looked on course to continue their streak when Christian Eriksen scored a superb effort in the 11th minute and continued to impose themselves on the match.
Wanyama and Dembele effectively stifling Kante and Matic, Chelsea could hardly get a sniff. Much against run of play, Pedro curled in a spectacular goal in the closing seconds of the first half.
Victor Moses settled matters in the second half as his strike beat Hugo Lloris to give Chelsea t win.
