At least three people have been feared dead in the rerun legislative elections that held across the three senatorial districts of the state.
The election recorded heavy turnout of voters but the process was affected in some areas where there were cases of hijack of ballot boxes and cases of violence and shootings.
The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi was again disenfranchised form voting due to missing of original result sheet.
Recall that in the 2015 general, the former governor of the state did not vote because there was no result sheet.
Two people were earlier reported killed in Tai and in Gokana Local Government Areas, but later a youth believed to be a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, was allegedly killed at ward 3, Mgbuitanwo community in Emohua LGA, the home of Andrew Uchendu, the APC candidate for the Rivers East Senatorial district.
