Arrested Boko Haram Terrorist Warns Of Imminent Attacks On FCT

Officials of the recently established security agency in the Federal Capital Territory, the Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC Marshal have arrested a man believed to be part of the fleeing Boko Haram fighters dispersed during the Nigerian Army’s onslaught on Sambisa Forest.

This was disclosed in a statement released on Tuesday by the Public Relations Officer of AMAC Marshal, Kingsley Madaki. The suspect who gave his name as Usman was caught with a Qur’an and a chaplet on his neck around 4:30pm while trying to lobby people in Utako Market.

The suspect, according to Madaki, confessed to being a Boko Haram member adding that there are so many of his colleagues out there in the city ready to unleash mayhem on innocent residents.

The AMAC Spokesperson however, called on the residents of FCT to be on high alert and report any suspicious individual or group immediately to security officials adding that the organization is out to ensure safety of lives and properties.
