Ghana’s Independent Electoral Commission has disclosed that its official website has been hacked. The incident comes just one day after Ghanaians want to the poll to vote in Presidential elections.

The hackers attempted to upload fake election results to the website but failed. The electoral said via its Twitter account “We deplore the attempt to hack the EC’s [electoral commission’s] website. Please respect the integrity and independence of the EC,”
