Despite reports claiming Ryan Giggs was in the running for the vacant position of head coach at Swansea, the club’s hierarchy have ruled him out of contention.
The Swans who sit in 19th position have ruled out the possibility of appointing the United legend to replace Bob Bradley, who was sacked earlier in the week.
Alan Curtis, who is temporarily in charge of the team told reporters,
It has to be the right man. Ideally they would be British and know the Premier League,”
“[The owners] have to be satisfied he fills all the criteria for getting us out of the trouble we find ourselves in.”
His statement clearly rules out Giggs and the Swans have also denied that the coach of the Welsh National team, Coleman has been approached.
