Nigerian Army Rescues Another Chibok Girl

The Nigerian Army has disclosed the rescue of yet another of the Chibok Girls, more than two years after they were originally abducted. Of the 276 girls, 20 were rescued in late 2016 following a negotiation between the Federal government and Boko Haram.

The Army has now said the girl rescued today alongside her baby was part of the girls abducted by the terror group and she has been identified as , Rakiya Abubakar.

Rakiya and her baby were reportedly rescued near Sambisa Forest, by Nigerian troops of the 27 Brigade around Alagarno area near Ajigin in Damboa Local Government area, Borno state earlier today.
