A daring attack by the Boko Haram terrorist group on the University of Maiduguri, Borno state left four persons, including a University Professor dead.

The attack occurred in the early hours of Monday morning and comes weeks after Nigeria’s federal government declared that Boko Haram had been comprehensively defeated.

President Buhari took to his Twitter page to react to Monday’s attack and branded Boko Haram a ‘godless group’.
