The Police have dropped charges against Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori.
Last week, Maikori was arrested and detained for his tweets about the purported killing of five students in Kaduna by Fulani herdsmen.
He was released over the weekend, following the intervention of former Education Minister, Oby Ezekwesili .
In a phone chat with DAILY POST, Maikori’s personal assistant, Edward Israel-Ayide, confirmed the news.
“Yes, it is true,” he said.
“Audu and I are working on a press statement and we will send it to you exclusively as soon as it is ready.”
