Police rescues two armed robbers from jungle justice

Policemen on Monday rescued two suspected thieves from being lynched by a mob in Minna, Niger State.

The suspected burglars were caught by neighbours who came to the rescue of a man and his girlfriend who had earlier been robbed by the duo.

The robbers who were said to be four in number attacked a student in Entrepreneur and Business Studies Department with a machete leaving cuts on him after stabbing him. They took his phones and laptop, witnesses said.

The incident happened in Sound City Lodge, Gidan Kwano Minna as the victim came out to put off his generator. They accompanied him into his apartment and asked for his gadgets. The girlfriend locked away in the bathroom alerted neighbours.
