Nnamdi Kanu advises Anambra state residents to boycott November 18 gubernatorial election

The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu  got a presidential welcome party in Anambra state when he visited with his wife, Uchech Kanu, in Agukwu Nri area of the state on Tuesday, July 18.
His visit might not be unconnected with the upcoming election in the state scheduled for November 18 which IPOB has urged its members to boycott as a way of achieving the desired Biafra state.
It was earlier reported that IPOB officially ordered another sit at home. This time around, the IPOB ordered the people of Anambra to observe the sit at home protest on the day of the forth coming gubernatorial election in the state.
In a statement made available on the group’s Radio Biafra Facebook page, IPOB said it ordered the sit at home to safe guard lives of the people because governor Willie Obiano has colluded with the military to slaughter the people of the state.
The statement read: “18th of November 2017 is sit at Home in the whole of Anambra state. Please stay indoors on that day to avoid anything happening to you. We are aware that Willie Obiano has colluded with Nigeria military to slaughter our people on 18th of November 2017, to avoid causalities we advise you to stay at home. Your life matters, #Boycott the election.”
