Suleja, a town near Abuja experienced massive flooding on Sunday which is as a result of a heavy rain that reportedly fell for hours and led to the death of at least 20 people.
A heavy rain that lasted more than 12 hours, has reportedly led to the death of not less than 20 people in Suleja, a town near Abuja, on Sunday, July 9
It was gathered that the rain, which reportedly started around the evening of Saturday, July 8 fell without stop till the afternoon of Sunday.




In a video shared by Sahara Reporters, residents of the area could be seen helping each other across the streets with homes submerged in flood.
