Traffic Information You Need To Know About Sallah Celebration

Ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration on Friday September 1, Ogun State Traffic Management Agency, has some important traffic information everyone needs to know.
The general public have been reminded that the Sallah holiday slated for Friday, coincides with the Holy Ghost Service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, which will hold same day.
Similarly, the Power Must Change Hand of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM comes up on Saturday 2, while the annual Ojude-Oba Festival at Ijebu-Ode, is scheduled for Sunday, 3 September.
In a traffic advisory issued on Tuesday by the spokesman of Ogun State Traffic Management Agency, TRACE, Babatunde Akinbiyi, TRACE said “​coincidence of these ​c​celebrations and ​r​eligious ​p​rogrammes suggests an increase in the volume of human and vehicular traffic, especially along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, with its attendant traffic challenges​”​.
 
​”In this regard, motorists plying the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, but who are not attending the aforementioned ​r​eligious ​p​rogrammes and are in haste, are advised to please make use of the following alternative routes:
 
​”​Sango Ota-Ifo-Abeokuta-Sagamu/Interchange-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway.
 
​”​Victoria Island-Lekki-Epe-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway.
 
​”​Ikorodu-Itoikin-Benin/Ore Expressway.
 
​”​Mowe Ofada-Sagamu/Interchange-Ijebu/Ode-Benin/Ore Expressway​”​.
