Yahaya Bello Called NYSC Members for Loyalty and Patriotism to Unite Nigeria

On Tuesday, August 15, the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello urged NYSC members to stay patriotic and faithful. He beseeched them to play the most possible active role in making Nigeria firm and unified nation.

This governor`s appeal has already become one of the most important Kogi news of the week. Yahaya Bello declaimed his speech at the closing ceremony at the NYSC camp in Asaya, in front of the 1,725 group members.

The governor also strongly recommended the corps members to react devotedly and altruistically to the clarion call to make the constructive impact in the project of national integration and further development.

Additionally, Yahaya Bello highly praised the corps members for their perfect conduct, flexibility and strong focus all through the training period. He noted that the training would undoubtedly unlock new prospects and challenge to all of them.

“You must never take the path of corruption and crime. Conversely, I want you to adhere to the war against corruption as soon as possible. Our country urgently needs all of you! Let the change in Nigeria start with you! Let the change begin with you,” summarized the governor of Kogi State.

Moreover, Yahaya Bello guaranteed the corps members that he personally and his administration would do their best to make the favorable environment to allow them rendering efficient services to all the people of Kogi State.

Sometime earlier, Mrs. Ngozi Nwatarali, the Coordinator of Kogi State, advised the corps members to become an example to follow for their home communities. She also urged them to do their best to make the people independent and economically happy.

“You are the future of our country. We expect you to turn into the generation of real leaders and achievers who would be unquestionably dedicated to noble service to their communities and Nigeria at large.

The Administrator of Ijumu Government Area, Mr. Taofiq Isa, wished the NYSC corps members to be hard-working, patriotic, faithful, and modest.
