The family were heading home after enjoying a family outing in the park, when he was confronted by two men.
According to cops, the thugs also wanted to take his car, but Grandzol refused.
After a few seconds of thought, Grandzol reportedly wanted take his daughter out of the mess so he handed his car keys over to one suspect.

She added: “He was the best father to our two girls that you could ever imagine. He was welcoming to everyone in the neighbourhood.

“Those two gunshots just destroyed my life and my two daughters don’t have a father now.
“I have a 6-week old daughter and a two-and-a-half year-old who saw the whole thing, I don’t know if she’ll ever be right.”
Describing the incident, Homicide Captain John Ryan said: “They wanted the car; he wouldn’t give up the car. And they shot him for it.”
On Saturday, cops arrested Maurice Roberts, 21 and his 16-year-old brother – who allegedly shot Grandzol.
