Man Commits Suicide Over Failure To Receive His Pension | Graphic Photo

A government pensioner has taken his own life after he was unable to receive his pension.
A 62-year-old Government pensioner has jumped to his death from the 16th floor of Findeco House after his pension was failed to paid again, ZambianWatch has reported.
The incident occurred yesterday 12th September, 2017 at Findeco house on Cairo road in Zambia. His smashed body was taken away by the police to the mortuary. Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo said the police are hiding the identity of the former government worker until his next of kin is informed.
“A male adult aged 62 of unknown residence jumped from one of the floors at findeco house and fell on a balcony and died instantly. He was found with a smashed head, fructured legs and hands,” Katongo said.
The body of the deceased has been picked and has since been deposited in UTH mortuary. Particulars of the deceased person have been established based on the driving license but has been withheld until the next of kin is informed.
