Robbers Raid Mosque In Lagos

Robbers have stormed a mosque in a Lagos State community, causing commotion in the area and disappearing with valuables.
Some robbers caused serious commotion in a Lagos community when they invaded a mosque to steal.
The incident happened at a Central Mosque located at 156 Ijesha road in Itire, Lagos.
P. M. Express reports that the robbers invaded the place in the evening in search of money and other valuables. They reportedly carted away valuables from the building.
However, one of the suspects, Gbenga Odunmade has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for the alleged invasion and was remanded in prison custody.
He was charged before Isolo Magistrates court for felony and stealing under the Criminal Code.
He pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mrs A.O Adedayo granted him bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition and the matter was adjourned till 27th of October, 2017.
