16-year-old Arrested With Dangerous Weapons Used To Rob In Traffic

It is the end of the road for some criminals elements in Lagos state who have been terrorizing residents of the state after they were caught by the police.
Policemen in Lagos state have arrested a 16-year-old boy identified as Rasheed Garba alongside members of his robbery syndicate for terrorizing and robbing members of the public held up in traffic at Casidi along the Badagry expressway.
Other members of his gang were identified as Usman Yusuf, 33, and Haruna Jubril, 25. They were apprehended while dispossessing of members of the public held up in traffic of their phones, bags and other belongings.
The Lagos state Anti-robbery squad (SAR) also arrested one Akogwu Emmanuel, 25years and Adole Daniel, 23years yesterday.
The suspects confessed to have robbed many passengers and terrorized commuters and vehicles along Agege Dopemu axis. Items found on them include two locally made pistol with one (1) SMG ammunition and two (2) live cartridges were recovered from them.
The commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi, has asked members of the public that have been victims of these robbers to visit the Command to identify the suspects.
