Woman Attacks Stepdaughter With Razor Blade

A woman has been nabbed for her unbelievably criminal act after she was found out to have attacked her step-daughter in Ogun.

Rose Michael, a middle-aged woman, has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for allegedly inflicting life-threatening injuries on her eight-year-old step-daughter, Blessing Michael, in a revenge attack.
The woman has blamed her action on the devil.
According to Vanguard, the step-mother reportedly used razor blade to inflict deep cuts on the little girl’s hands and thigh, leading to bleeding. The woman, who resides at 10, Onofowokan Street, Ita-oluwa via Ogijo in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State, was reportedly arrested following a complaint from her husband, James Michael.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, disclosed that the suspect’s husband reported the matter to the Police in Ogijo, saying his wife called him on phone while he was away at work ,informing him that his daughter, Blessing, beat her little daughter and injured her on her leg and has vowed to retaliate by ensuring that she injures her too.
Oyeyemi said: “The complainant stated further that he pleaded with her on phone to wait for him to see what actually happened. But before his arrival, the woman had used razor blade to inflict deep cuts on the little girl’s two hands and thigh, leaving the victim to bleed profusely.
“Upon the complaint, the DPO Ogijo Division, Tijani Muhammed, detailed detectives to effect the arrest of the suspect.
“On interrogation, the suspect owned up to the commission of the offence, but blamed it on the devil as she claimed not to know what came over her, while carrying out the act. The victim is currently on admission at Lenard Hospital, Ogijo.
“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Ahmed Iliyasu, has ordered the immediate transfer of the case to Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, CIID, for further investigation and possible prosecution of the suspect.”
