Group urges PDP chairman to re-instate Buruji Kashamu

A South-West group , has called on the new National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus, to reinstate the suspended senator representing Ogun-East senatorial district, Buruji Kashamu.

Kashamu was suspended by the then National Caretaker Committee of the PDP for one month.

However, the group said the senator’s suspension might spark off another crisis in the party if not lifted.

In a statement by the Coordinator and Secretary of the SWGG, Akintayo Johnson, and Muyiwa Lawal, respectively, the group condemned the suspension of Kashamu by the PDP leadership.

The statement read, “We do understand that due to Senator Kashamu’s sincerity to call a spade a spade and because he exposed and stood against the evil plans to destroy the Yoruba race, he was suspended. We want the world to know that we stand by Senator Kashamu in his struggle to liberate the Yoruba race.”
