It is said that having white teeth not only ensures a brighter smile, it is also an indicator of good oral health (Although not 100%). It is important that like other parts of the body, the dental health should always be catered for so as to ensure the whole mouth is in top shape. This will avoid the possible existence of cavities and keeping the teeth strong without any risk of decaying.
Apart from brushing with a toothpaste with fluoride twice daily, flossing and so on, there are other simple ways to keep the teeth whiter (and they work too):
- Every morning when you put on toothpaste to brush, add a pinch of baking soda, mix this and brush as usual. Baking soda is great for removing stains and helps brighten the teeth.
- You can also rub the insides of an orange or banana peel on your teeth everyday for a noticeably whiter teeth after a few weeks of use.
- Another way is to dip a finger in coconut oil (pure) and massage around teeth, leave this on for a few minutes and rinse the mouth with warm water afterwards.
