With the rate of scammers in the country, most of the internet fraudsters have now devised new method to continue to dupe unsuspecting victims.

They are now creating fake Facebook profiles of prominent senators in Nigeria, the recent ones being Facebook profiles pretending to be Senator Ifeanyi Araraume and Senator Samdaddy Anyanwu from Imo state in order to defraud their “constituents”.

The screenshots containing the Facebook chat between the scammers and their proposed victims were shared online to alert the public of their new mode of operation.
