In 2003, he became the Chief Executive Officer of the Standard Trust Bank and in 2016, he became the chairman of the United Bank of Africa, Transcorp PLC, Heirs Holding and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation helping thousands of entrepreneurs in Africa.
Tony Onyemaechi Elumelu whos is a Nigerian economist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist was worth US$700 Million as at March 2015.
