Graphic Photos: Many Killed As Armed Bandits Storm Village In Nasarawa State

Blood flowed freely on Tuesday after armed bandits stormed Ugya village, a community in Toto local government area of Nasarawa State and killed over 20 people leaving many others injured.

It was gathered that the incident was as a result of communal clash between the Ebira and Bassa ethnic groups. It was alleged that the bandits came in with over 30 motorcycles with 3 persons each to the area as they attacked the community.

The hoodlums reportedly surrendered to military men who were on operation free Ugya from terrorism – after a fire fight.

Some of the motorcycles have been seized by the joint military forces operating in the area. The community is now under the control of the Nigeria military, according to reports.
