No Wife, No Job, No House: 37-Year-Old Man Threatens To Commit Suicide In Anambra (Photo)

A popular Nigerian radio station, the Anambra Broadcasting Service – ABS, has raised an alarm after a frustrated Nigerian man threatened to commit suicide.

ABS revealed that it recently one of its anchors discussed suicide on one of its programmes which which aired last Sunday. The anchor reportedly discussed suicide, it’s causes and suggested ways to curb it.

After the show, a Facebook user identified as Victor Cosmas Peterson who listened to the programme contacted ABS and made some troubling revelations which was shared online with his permission.

Below is what Victor wrote (sic):

“ABS de great station of Africa de East, voice of voiceless. i hail you. you held program dat why do people commit suicide.why would like me as am in predicament of hell not commit suicide.

“I have no one on earth to assist me In life. i pass through hell to see myself through ND & now without a job. i have been crying all day asking someone to get me connect to a job yet no one is willing to save my soul hell. suicide remain de best options to end dis suffering.

“i’m by name Victor cosmas Peterson. Pls help me with careless wisper to come my aid. l am 37years yet not married, no job, nor a place to living. De spirit of suicide is hunting me. i dnt want to go to hell Pls”

It is not clear if the man was given the required help, as at the time of filing this report.
