Mohamed Salah Provides Positive Injury Update Ahead Of World Cup

Mohamed Salah has posted a positive update on social media as he continues to recover from a shoulder injury.

Mohamed Salah sustained the damage in his club side’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in last week’s Champions League final, initially putting his World Cup participation in doubt.

Egypt are hopeful that Salah will be able to play some part in the group stage, though, and the Premier League’s Golden Boot winner for 2017-18 also appears to be confident of making a swifter-than-expected return.

Alongside a photograph of him using a resistance band for his arms and shoulders, Salah posted the caption “good feelings”.

Salah smashed 44 goals in 52 games in all competitions, including 11 in the Reds’ dramatic journey to the Champions League final.

His nation face Russia, Uruguay and Saudi Arabia in Group A of the upcoming World Cup.
