Turkish Giants Besiktas have accidentally confirmed the signing of Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius

Besiktas accidentally changed their header photo on Twitter to one of Loris Karius in a Besiktas kit.

Numerous disastrous performances had preceded his poor performance in the UEFA Champions League final , but his performance against Real Madrid was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

He was in tears at the final whistle and Liverpool decided to move ahead with interest in Roma’s Alisson, subsequently signing the Brazil ‘keeper in a then world-record £67m transfer.

Besiktas have reportedly been leading the race for the Karius and a loan deal has been rumoured to have been agreed upon between the two clubs.

Besiktas are in need of a new goalkeeper after selling Fabri to Fulham and according to reports they are hopeful of a two-year loan costing £1.25m per year plus an extra fee of £1.79m at the deal’s conclusion.
