Newcastle vs Chelsea: Sarri makes history with win

New Chelsea coach, Maurizio Sarri, has hit the ground running in his first three competitive match for Chelsea. He has now made it three wins from three matches and sit pretty at second on the league table.

They played against a Newcastle side that is although still looking for their first win of the campaign but have always manage to come out tops against Chelsea since 2011 on home turf.

With the win today, Sarri has not only broken the jinx, he has also set some standard in so doing.

See records he set today:

  • Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea are the first team in Europe this season to complete 2000+ passes. They completed that landmark today with an impressive 913 passes stringed together in the match.
  • He has also becomes only the fifth Chelsea manager to win his opening three Premier League games in charge of the club after Antonio Conte, Carlo Ancelotti, Guus Hiddink and Jose Mourinho.

Isn’t this amasing???
