Atlectico Madrid suffered their first defeat of the season after the fell by 2-0 to Celta Vigo. Atletico,who were champions in the 2013-2014 have now amassed only four points from three games before going for the international break.

Atlectico, who had fallen to both Maxi Gomez and Iago Aspas second half goals were only lucky not to concede a third after VAR controversially ruled out it out.

Their coach,Diego Simeone, was calm during the post match interview and even backed his player by saying they would come back stronger in their next match.
