A young Nigerian man, identified as Anas BinMaliq, who promised to donate N50,000 to President Buhari‘s re-election has died in a motor accident.

Anas died Thursday night days before he could redeem his pledge.

The Adamawa Polytechnic graduate had on Tuesday, September 4, promised to donate the sum of N50,000 for the purchase of Nomination Forms for President Buhari.

A friend who shared news of his death wrote:

“We lost one of our own Buharist on Thursday night by car accident. He promised to donate 50,000 for the purchase of Presidential form for Baba Buhari but God did not destined him to witness Buhari’s reelection.

May Almighty God forgive his shortcomings and give his family the fortitude to bear his lost. RIP.”
