WAEC reveals dancing senator, Ademola Adeleke had F9 in English, did not seat for the rest of his papers

Emerging reports claimed that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has confirmed that Senator Ademola Adeleke, the candidate of the PDP for September 22 governorship election in Osun state, sat for its examination in 1981.

Daily Sun reports that the sub-regional examinations body made the confirmation in its response to an order made by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

The court on Tuesday, September 11, directed the body to produce Adeleke’s result within 10 days due to the controversy surrounding his O’level result.

In its affidavit sworn to by Henry Sunday Adewunmi Osindeinde a deputy registrar, Head of School Examination Department, WAEC said Adeleke sat for the May/April 1981 at Ede Muslim High School, Yidi Road, Ede, with centre number: 19645 and candidate number 149.

Adeleke registered for seven subjects. The result obtained after the exam showed he got F9 in English language and was absent for all the other subjects which includes Islamic knowledge, Biology, Economics, Mathematics and Literature in English.

Adeleke is the PDP governorship candidate for this saturday’s governorship election in Osun state. Two members of his party had dragged him to court on allegations that he forged his WAEC certificate.
