Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Thursday, met with former president Olusegun Obasanjo in his home in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The former vice President had lunch with his former boss, in hope to woo him to support his presidential ambition.

Atiku, who will be locking horns with president Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential election, revealed via a tweet after the meeting, that he was very happy about the visit.

He wrote:

It was exciting meeting with my former boss and having lunch with him in Abeokuta.

He also thanked Bishop David Oyedepo, who was also available at the meeting in Ota, for the prayers.
