“We must help our neighbours” – Pastor Adewale Giwa urges religious leaders to spend tithes on Nigerians

Pastor Adewale Giwa, a senior pastor of the Awaiting The Second Coming of Jesus Christ Gospel Church has urged Nigerian religious leaders to donate their church tithes and offerings to the masses in order to save Nigerians from poverty. He said this in his message while marking the 17th anniversary of his church in Akure, Ondo State, on Sunday.

He urged the pastors to study art of teachings by Jesus Christ. “We have a duty to support one another to stand. I am begging Pasoty Adeboye, Bishop Oyedepo and others to take over from governments and help Nigerians. In my church, you can find out today how we spend tithes and offerings; we simply give it to the poor. Since our political leaders have failed the poor, I think it’s high time our religious leaders rescued Nigerians who wallow in abject poverty.” Pastor Adewale said
