Tottenham were beaten by Wolverhampton 3-1 at Wembley stadium today in the domestic league fixture corresponding to match day 19 in the current campaign.
Tottenham can concede second spot standing on the league table to defending champions, Manchester City, if the Citizens who travel to St Mary stadium tomorrow to take on Southampton emerge victorious.
England international, Harry Kane, opened the scoring for his sides in the 22nd minute after displaying great skills to engage on a marauding run down the right hand channel before cutting in to his weaker left foot to dink the ball beyond the well positioned opposition’s goalkeeper.
They were thought to be heading for another routine win but Wolves came back in the second half with three unreplied goals.
