French International, N’golo Kante, was the difference as Chelsea defeated Crystal Palace by a lone goal at the Selhurst Park during their domestic league clash in the fixture corresponding to match day 20 in the current campaign.
The former English champion have as a result of the victory now opened a five points lead over Arsenal who sit in fourth place and are just 2 points adrift of third placed Tottenham.
The Blues made the breakthrough after the Frenchman collected David Luiz’s clipped ball over the top and puts it past the helpless goalkeeper in the 51st minute. This has gotten their head coach, Maurizio Sarri, singing his praise at the end of the match.
What he said:
Sarri: 'Kante is improving, especially in movements without the ball. Today the movement was very good and done with the right timing. It's important when we play against opponents [like Palace].'#CRYCHE
