Here Is What Former Manchester United Forward, Wayne Rooney, Has To Say About The New Red Devils Coach

Manchester United all time record goal scorer, Wayne Rooney, has taken to social media to wish Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the best in his new role as a Manchester United caretaker manager.

The Norwegian was appointed on Monday after the Red Devils hierarchy decided that it was time to part ways with their former coach, Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese tactician was sacked after strings of winless run was made worst by Liverpool’s 3-1 lashing at Anfield on Sunday.

Solskjaer who is a former Manchester United striker is more know for his late heroic goal against Bayer Munich in the 1999 UEFA champions league final. His display against the German champions that night won the Red Devils the much talked about treble that year.

Although Wayne Rooney didn’t get the chance to play with him but that didn’t stop him from sending him his best wishes as he prepare for his first match on the dug out tomorrow.
