Today, according to the VP, was a very exciting one as he believes that the commissioning of the free WiFi, would foster development, driven from having internet access.

The commissioning is fallout of his visit to Silicon Valley, US, where he got Google to promise free wifi for Nigerian markets and other public places including airports.

According to the reports, there would be free WiFi in 200 places in the country by 2019.

After Vice President launched the Free Google WiFi in the market, he then proceeded on a walk through the market to speak to beneficiaries of the government’s micro loan program(Trader Mini).
