Google has revealed the list of its 2018 ‘Year In Search’ that captures; what people, places, and things were trending around the globe this year? What was the top trending news moment of the last 12 months, and which new music and movie trended to the top and grabbed people’s attention?

On the list of songs that dominated based on searches conducted in Nigeria, Wizkid’s ‘Fever’ sits atop. Davido who dominated the list last year also takes two spots in the top 5 with Assurance sitting at number two while Nwa Baby takes number five.

Olamide takes the third and fourth position with Science Student and Motigbana. Left on the list are; Burna Boy’s Gbona, Wizkid’s Manya and Soco, Davido’s Fia and Kizz Daniel’s One Ticket.

On the list of most searched lyrics in Nigeria this year, the Davido-aided, Kizz Daniel hit, One Ticket sits atop followed by Drake’s God’s Plan and In My Feelings. Wizkid secures the fourth spot with the Duncan Mighty featured Fake Love while Davido sits on the fifth and sixth position with Assurance and Nwa Baby.

Michael Dappah AKA Big Shaq’s Man’s Not Hot takes the seventh spot, Maroon 5 secures the eighth position with Girls Like You leaving the ninth and tenth spot to Freaky Fridayby Lil D!cky and Falz the Bahd Guy’s This Is Nigeria.
