3 Nigerian police officers sacked for receiving $5000 bribe

The new Inspector General, Adamu Mohammed has started to make good his pledge to sanitise the police during his tenure.

The National Industrial Court, on Monday upheld the dismissal of three policemen, who were fired for accepting a bribe of $5,000 and other misconducts.

The police officers affected are Inspectors Joseph Okan, Joshua Madami and Sergeant Cyprian Nwankwo.

This was confirmed by President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on social media, Lauretta Onochie via her Twitter page.
