Some Nigerians on social media have expressed their disappointment over the conduct of the March 23rd supplementary election in Kano state.
The battle which is mainly between incumbent governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Abba Kabir Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has reportedly suffered some disruption and violence.
Although police in the state have refuted claims that the rerun was characterized by disruption and widespread violence, many photos of injured people flooding various social media platform, leaves room for doubt.
Meanwhile, Governor Ganduje has been criticised for allegedly unleashing terror on the state, all to retain his seat.
What they are saying
The only people that love Ganduje in Kano apart from his family, are those that are directly benefiting from the government and also enemies of progress.

APC and Ganduje have unleashed serious violence. My brother @farouqyola was attacked today by armed thugs for being a PDP member. He is however in a safe location and no injuries were sustained. Sadly team members including Hon Yusuf Babangida sustained injuries. #KanoRerun
