The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the governorship election in Plateau State as inconclusive.

After the declaration of 17 local governments, APC’s Lalung won in 11 local governments, while PDP’s Useni won in 6 local governments.

It was announced that the total number of cancelled votes was put at 49,377 votes and therefore had exceeded the difference of 44,929.

INEC declared the results as inconclusive and ordered for supplementary elections to be conducted in the affected local government areas in the next 21 day.
