Former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso has revealed that the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Kano state gubernatorial election, Abba Yusuf will not pay the N30,000 minimum wage agreed by the incumbent governor of the state, Abdullahi Ganduje (APC).
According to Kwankwaso, he has directed Abba to not pay N30,000 to workers in the state. However, he ensured that workers will get their salaries on or before 25th of every month.
It should be recalled that Information Nigeria reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission had declared the governorship election in Kano state as inconclusive as a result of cancelled votes surpassing the winning between the two leading candidates.
PDP is leading at the polls with a margin of 26,000 votes.
