9th Assembly: APC enters frantic negotiation to stop Ndume

Following the declaration of Senator Ali Ndume to run for the post of Senate President in the 9th Assembly, the All Progressives Congress (APC) have begun negotiations to halt the process of Ndume becoming Senate President.

National Publicity Secretary of APC Isa-Onilu on Tuesday revealed that the party would meet and take a decision on Ndume’s declaration.

He expressed the hope that the issue would be resolved since negotiation was ongoing.

The party will look into it and a decision will be taken. Remember that consultation is still ongoing.

Onilu however revealed that there was no timeline on when the decision will be taken.
