Senator Dino Melaye has raised alarm over the way he believes the All Progressives Congress (APC) is handling the running of the oil sector of Nigeria.

Dino argues that the APC led administration is not being transparent enough about the affairs of NNPC. This he believes contradicts the purported fight against corruption being passed around.

Dino notes that as a result of the importance of the sector to Nigeria’s economy, the affairs of NNPC should be made public.

According to Dino on Twitter on Wednesday, “Trpansparency is the vaccine for corruption. The operations of the oil industry is opaque. APC lead administration should open up the activities of the oil industry. The sector responsible for 90% of our income can not be a secret club. Fight corruption.”
