The minister for labour and productivity, Dr Chris Ngige, has said job creation is not the sole responsibility of the federal government.

He added that the federal government of Nigeria has created as much as 8 million jobs in the last few years.

The former governor of Anambra state further explained that most of the jobs created are supposed to be in the private sector.

He made this known during a television programme on channels tagged “Sunrise daily”.

His words:

A lot of jobs have been created, numbering about 8 million now.

Job creation is not only for the government. You don’t leave it only for the government. Most of the jobs created are supposed to be in the private sector.
