President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday cut his trip to Amman, Jordan, ahead of the World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa, short to tend to security matters in the country.
Buhari is back in Abuja, a day ahead of schedule, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
Buhari, who was suppose to return to Abuja from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday at about 1.30a.m, landed at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at about 10.45p.m yesterday.
Buhari is said to have cut short his Dubai Trip, because of the security developments in Zamfara, Kaduna and elsewhere in the country.
Buhari has been in Amman since April 4th upon an invitation from King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF).
