The United Arab Emirates Thursday said it has not suspended issuance of three-month tourist visa to Nigerian passport holders.“These news are inaccurate and stresses the importance of sourcing news from its official channel,” the UAE Embassy in Nigeria said on its Twitter handle. Nigeria attracted $6bn FDI in 3 months — CBN

The Central Bank of Nigeria has said the country attracted $6 billion foreign investments in the first three months of the year. Speaking with journalists at the end of the Bankers Committee meeting in Lagos, yesterday, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Director, Banking Supervision, Ahmad Abdullahi noted that confidence in the economy by both local and foreign investors has been on the rise despite the elections.


Nigeria’s Debt Management Office (DMO) has released the Public Debt Data for the year-ended 2018. The report which includes data on the composition of Public Debt Data, also provided a breakdown of the debt between the federal and the state governments (including the Federal Capital Territory).
