The police in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja over the weekend clamped down on girls and women including married ones, at night clubs and other relaxation spots over allegations that they are prostitutes.
There are also disturbing reports that the police at the Utako Police station allegedly used pure water bags as condoms to rape the arrested women – who failed to drop N5,000.

According to activist, Dorothy Njemanze, some policemen raped the women they arrested randomly at various relaxation spots in Abuja last week.
